At DiscoverSys, we take the scholarly publishing seriously. We think every researcher should have an opportunity to access and publish quality research.
DiscoverSys Journals, a not-for-profit venture and the scholarly publishing services of DiscoverSys, uses the Open Journal Systems and creates a platform for researchers and students to publish their quality research with an international reach. Our mandate is free to access & free to publish and yes we stand by that
If your organization/society is interested in publishing a biomedical journal, forward your proposals to us.
The following journals are currently published or being considered for publication by DiscoverSys.
Discovery Pharmacology is a broad-based international open-access journal devoted to publishing research in basic and clinical pharmacology with a focus on the mechanism of action of chemicals in biological systems. Published quarterly Discovery Pharmacology contains original articles, reviews, and short communications. The journal covers major fields of pharmacology including but not limited to biochemical pharmacology, molecular pharmacology, immunopharmacology, drug metabolism, pharmacogenetics, analytical toxicology, neuropsychopharmacology, pharmacokinetics and clinical pharmacology.
Discovery Pharmacology places particular emphasis on findings that relate to the actions and metabolism of drugs and toxic substances at the biochemical and molecular levels, submissions in the areas of behavioral and physiological pharmacology and toxicology are also encouraged if they describe studies directed at defining mechanisms of action.
The scope of Discovery Pharmacology includes:
• Biochemical and molecular pharmacology
• Cardiovascular pharmacology
• Gastrointestinal pharmacology
• Clinical pharmacology, if addressing novel mechanisms of action
• Respiratory tract pharmacology
• Pharmacology of tissue repair
• Neuropharmacology, psychopharmacology, and neuroendocrinology
• Chemotherapy and cancer therapy
• Pharmacological applications of genomics
• Pharmacology of aging
• Nutraceuticals, if relevant to human disease

Diabesity is a unique interdisciplinary journal intended to publish high-quality original research on the pathogenesis of diabetes, obesity and their complications. As such the journal prioritizes studies on metabolic syndrome as a whole uncovering new knowledge on the physiology and pathophysiology of diabetes and obesity.
Discovery Diabesity focuses on clinical and experimental pharmacology and therapeutics in any aspect of metabolic and endocrine disease, either in humans or animal and cellular systems. Submitted manuscripts can report any aspect of laboratory, animal, or human research, normal and pathologic pancreatic islet function and intermediary metabolism, pharmacological mechanisms of drug and hormone action, and biochemical and molecular aspects of normal and abnormal biological processes. Discovery Diabesity also welcomes manuscripts on clinical nutrition, adipogenesis and lipid metabolism, neuroscience, transgenic models, metabolic syndrome, nutrition behavior, pediatric obesity, and adipocyte cell biology.
The mission Discovery Diabesity is to provide basic researchers and all clinicians involved in the care of people with diabetes with information on advances and the effects of new or existing therapies, including dietary, exercise and lifestyle (non-pharmacological) interventions, either in humans or animal and cellular systems.
Published quarterly with an open-access mandate, Discovery Diabesity offers prompt publication and presents new information on diabetes and obesity. Unsolicited review articles that are balanced, comprehensive and provide new and/or critical analysis of any aspect of drug therapy (or non-pharmacological intervention) relevant to patients with diabetes, obesity or metabolic disorders will also be considered.

Discovery Phytomedicine is a quarterly international open-access journal dedicated to attract and disseminate novel and experimental innovations with a focus on pharmacology, toxicology and clinical studies of natural products. The journal publishes research results on phytotherapy in laboratory as well clinical studies, phytopharmacology, pharmacognosy, standardization and phytotoxicology, obtained with plant extracts as well as isolated compounds from these extracts and phytopharmaceuticals.
Discovery Phytomedicine intends to publish original research papers, short communications, reviews and letters on medicinal plant research as well as other naturally occurring bioactive compounds. The journal welcomes interdisciplinary papers encompassing phytochemical investigations and structure elucidation studies of pharmacologically active compounds and phytopharmacological studies based on folk use of medicinal plants.
Manuscripts investigating pharmacological and toxicological mechanisms of action and clinical studies contributing to the understanding of specific phytopharmacological problems will be given priority review and publication. The journal welcomes review articles in the above mentioned fields especially those highlighting the multi-disciplinary nature of phytomedicine.
